Haven't Met You Yet

Not gonna lie. I have never been a HUGE fan of Michael Buble. I mean I thought he was cute and I knew he could sing. But going to a concert would probably never have happened had it not been for Emily Ann Melonas. And I would like to thank her here and now for making me go. I am now 100% in love with Michael Buble. Not only is he an amazing singer, he is also incredibly hot and insanely hilarious. I can honestly say if he ever comes back here or within a 4 hour drive radius....I will be attending. If you ever get a chance to see him...GO! PS...go to my facebook page right now and watch the video of Home with him. Swoon!

Yes he is adorable

We were on the floor and he came by where we were sitting....SO close...SO happy!

No this is not with zoom!

I like to think he is thinking about how much he loves me in this picture.

When The Saints Go Marching In

NOLA. One of my absolute favorite cities. Myself and 4 of my wonderful friends all went down to NOLA Thursday May 26 - Sunday May 29 2011. Emily, Becca, Averill and I took the train down and may have started drinking at breakfast. But it was vacation so to each their own! We technically went down for Food and Wine Fest but the rest of the weekend was just as amazingly fun! Kate (our D.C. friend) flew down to meet us. We ate wonderful food, drank wonderful drinks and made lot's of fun memories. We are hoping to make this a tradition.
On the train down to NOLA

What do you do on your first night on Bourbon? Pat O's Hurricane of course!

The Best Friend and I our first night at Pat O's

Kate and I at Wine and Food Fest

Really, what is NOLA without Cafe Du Monde?

Best brunch in NOLA

I suppose all of us needed a little charm

Wine and Food Fest....literally worth every penny

100% the best drink I have ever had. It has Everclear and Bourbon in it but tastes just like a grape slushy.

So. Much. Fun.

Livin' On A Prayer

Bon Jovi. Easily my favorite artist of ALL time. Since I was about 5 years old I have been more than slightly obsessed with this band. I remember being 8 years old watching my sister and brother get ready to go to his concert. I was so jealous. My brother brought me back a play book and I kept that book for years. I have no idea where it is now. Wish I still had it but alas I do not. So years and years went by and I FINALLY got to see Bon Jovi live and in concert on Valentine's Day of 2006 in Nashville. Living in Memphis, you get used to artists coming to Little Rock, Nashville, New Orleans and St. Louis. But it is a bit rare for them to come to Memphis. Especially Bon Jovi. So, 22 years go by and they FINALLY come back to Memphis. All I saw was they were coming and I did not care how much I had to pay for a ticket (which ended up being the most I have EVER paid for a concert...but it was totally worth it). I went with my best friend Emily and we ended up getting to sit in a suite thanks to Barbara! It was an amazing concert! Sadly enough, Richie Sambora was unable to attend due to the fact he is in rehab....the guy that took his place was NO Richie Sambora but ehhh...he was okay. It was literally sold out. They even sold seats behind the stage. 31 years after starting Bon Jovi and they still know how to put on the best show ever.

Down In The Flood

Well....unless you live under a rock you have probably heard about this little flood we have over here in Memphis. Not just in Memphis but spanning many states. The river crested this morning in Memphis reading just short of 48 feet. Just a few pictures of what we have seen.
